Unmüssig Timber GmbH – A leading supplier of European beech, oak and ash lumber
For more than 40 years Unmüssig Timber GmbH has been supplying European hardwood lumber and logs to the woodworking industries, wholesalers and timber merchants in Germany, Europe and overseas. Our main species are European beech, oak, ash and maple (sycamore).
Today we export European hardwood logs and lumber to more than 30 countries worldwide.
We regularly keep stock in standard thicknesses and grades of steamed and unsteamed beech, oak and ash lumber: unedged (waney edged) and square edged, air dried and kiln dried. Our delivery program also comprises beech and oak squares for the production of chairs and tables as well as individual dimensions which we cut to size according to our customers’ requirements.
Products
Unmuessig Timber GmbH offers a large variety of European hardwoods as logs, unedged and square edged lumber as well as solid wood dimension stock. The most relevant species are beech, oak, ash and maple. In those species we are able to guarantee a stable supply year round in various standard specifications. It also is one of our particular strengths to offer special cutting sizes and grades according to our customers’ requirements.
Species
Our product range includes logs, lumber and solid wood dimensions for the furniture industry. The variety of wood we offer comprises all European hardwoods. We are mainly specialized in beech, oak, ash and maple - other European species are available on request. Unmuessig Timber GmbH is an environmentally conscious organisation. All our wood is exclusively sourced from sustainable European forests. We are certified under the chain-of-custody regulations of FSC and PEFC.
